Look! North West,
over water, impatiently alive.
Impervious beady-eyed gull bobs,
waves dance; their music,
crash clap roll on shore.
See the light--
a slick of pearls on sea,
casts heat embracing brow,
draws salty bead from lighted
furrows' shadow.
Smell warmed driftwood,
back against this comfort of
Summer's Winter log fire,
seat of smoothed pebble hearth,
a fire-side sea-side story.
